I've always had a deep infatuation with the cosmos. Ever since I was young, I can recall looking up at the night sky and dreaming of one day uncovering what mysteries it holds. This collection is a tribute to my passion for both the universe and watercolour art.

Inspiration:
To me, the ocean seems so powerful and mysterious. Indeed, to date we still have only explored less than 5% of the Earth's oceans, leaving great probability for the unknown. I've chosen to represent this mystifying character of the ocean in both paintings of the Sea Sisters Collection.

In light of my interests of both art and machine learning, I played with a VGG convolutional neural network to create a portrait series generated entirely by artificial intelligence. Below are the results.
As you can see here, the machine learning model has applied Fragile Crescent's stylistic theme to the photo below. The product of this process I've called Star Dust.

Above is the product of 'feeding' the model my painting Phillip and the pictured image of myself. Extracting the stylistic acrylic texture and applying this to the image, the model generated what I call Phillip Meets Me.
