My name is Taylor Quinones. I am currently a senior at the State University of New York at Cortland, which is where I am currently working on getting my Bachelors of Science in Education, as a physical education major. Completing these various courses has helped me gain the knowledge that I will need to educate my students and to make them become physically literate individuals. As a physical educator I will make sure to assist my students, whether it is giving feedback and/or always making sure they are as successful as they can be.
From a young age I always loved every kind of sport. When I first began sports I started off with soccer, then dance, which then led me to my life long sport, softball. I played softball from when I was about 5 years old until my freshman year of college. I played travel softball, along with on my school teams, and when I got to college I still played over the summers on a local team at home. My number one position was pitcher. I started at a young age pitching and stuck with it all the way till the end. I was also a volleyball player throughout middle school and all of high school. As well as a wrestling manager for all 4 years of high school. I will get to bring all of this knowledge to my students as a physical educator so they can learn just how I did.
