Hello! My name is Taylor Nickson. I am currently a student at Garnet Valley High School in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. I am part of our school's chapter of NAHS, which I love to be involved in and express myself through my artwork. I am a manager of our Wrestling team and have been part of our areas wrestling community for most of my life. I also love writing and have notebooks filled with characters, poems, and short stories. I have a very large interest in psychology and working in schools. Throughout this webpage, you can find my writing, artwork, and my accomplishments and experiences.
According to the Do What You Are Inventory, what is your (letter combination)
“Personality Type”? In a short paragraph, talk about what matches what you already
knew about yourself and what was surprising.
ISFP. I took this test once before on a different website, and my results were ISFJ. I
assumed The test results would be similar if not the same. I was right, since nothing
really changed too much. The personality traits were very similar, the only real
changed being ISFP are a little more personal.
List here your strengths and blindspots. Choose two of these and provide a short
anecdotal example of when you displayed this characteristic in your life.
The two things that stick out to me in the article is I can take life too seriously and
get caught up in myself, and that I don’t give myself enough credit. Both of these
tend to be true, the evidence being mostly in my school work. I set a standard for
myself and feel awful if I don’t live up to it. The things that I do well can get pushed
aside because of this.
Consider your college satisfiers and career satisfiers in a short paragraph. Does
anything surprise you about these results? Might this impact your college and
career search in any way?
I don’t know where to find this, but if any of the other test are any indicators to this
questions answer, then nothing has changed about my college preference. I am set
for what I want, and nothing has contradicted this feeling in any way or changed my
mind.
Particularly look at your learning style. What aspects of this surprises you or
reinforces what you already knew? Make sure to support your answer with evidence
from your own academic career so far.
I also don’t know where to find this… I might be looking at the wrong thing, but the
other website doesn’t seem to have anything either…. Well, my learning style is a
little slower than others. I like to spend a couple days on one topic, and constant
reviewing and repeating seems to be the only thing that works for me. Deadlines
are not something I enjoy, since they stress me out like nothing else. I would prefer
it if a deadline was more of a suggestion.
Of the long list of careers recommended for people with your Personality Type,
select five that might interest you and type here the five and at least one major
needed to enter each field.
