Hi there! I’m Taylor!
Baker, book lover, children’s ministry director, and recent University of Florida grad (go Gators!). I just earned my Bachelor’s in Business Administration, I recently married the love of my life in September, and I spend the weekends as the Children’s Director at my church in Ponte Vedra Beach.
This bakery is something deeply personal to me.
Since I was young, I've had severe food allergies. I'm not just talking one or two, but a long list that turned everyday meals into minefields. Most of these allergies were discovered by trial and error, and I started to dread eating out for the fear of it making me sick. My unique blend of allergens makes many vegan and gluten-free products dangerous as well, thus lots of "allergen-free" foods were still unsafe for me.
So, I started baking my own. First out of necessity, then out of love.
Growing up, my mom would always try to make me "Taylor-friendly" baked goods to replicate what I couldn't have, and that inspired me to do the same. Many of these recipes were also created because I stopped being able to eat store-bought versions of them (who decided to start putting sesame flour in bread!?). Turned out, homemade versions of breads, bagels, and cookies were far better anyway! Recently, I realized that there are so many people navigating food allergies who feel left out, unseen, or like they have to settle for “good enough.”
This bakery is for us.
Everything I make is free of the allergens I live with daily, made to be safe without sacrificing flavor or joy. Whether you live with allergies or are simply buying for someone who does, my hope is that what comes out of my kitchen makes you feel a little more welcome — like there’s finally a seat at the table with your name on it.
Thank you for stopping by. I'm so glad you are here!
