NURSING WORK EXPERIENCE

Wound Clinic Nurse Case Manager; Interim Clinical Nurse Manager 

Remote Data Integrity/Clinical Analysis Support (PRN - while temporarily living in Utah in 2023) 

Healogics – St. Francis Medical Center and Penrose Hospital, Colorado Springs, CO

• Served as interim clinical nurse manager from September-December 2022 and from November 2023-April 2024 – organized clinic staffing, answered to all clinical-related questions and issues, scheduled in-services, led team morning meetings and assigned daily roles, trained new staff members 

• Trained replacement permanent clinical manager this year 

• Case manages care for chronic wound patients – coordinates care with interdisciplinary team, including clinic providers, other medical specialty providers/offices, home health agencies, supply companies, and insurance agencies 

• Performs and documents assessments of wounds, dermatologic status, and overall health status for new and returning patients 

• Provides direct wound care using a variety of dressings and modalities, including negative pressure wound therapy and compression wraps
