Tim McGraw: This song is based on a high school break-up with a senior boyfriend (she was a freshman) named Brandon Borello.
Picture To Burn: This song is based on a girl mad at a break-up. Taylor says that while she was writing this song she was "just being mad" and "completely brutally honest". She remembers while writing this song she said "I hate his stupid truck that he doesn't let me drive. He's such a redneck. Oh my god!" Which turned into one of the lyrics.
The Outside: This song describes Taylor's unhappiness and loneliness.
