I am the Jane Kim and Jung Min Lecturer in Undergraduate Teaching at Stanford University. I recently completed my PhD under the supervision of Michael Bratman (chair), Jorah Dannenberg, and Barry Maguire, with the help of Ray Briggs and Nadeem Hussain.

My research attempts to further understanding of personal responsibility for our conduct by engaging with various skeptical challenges. I diagnose where skeptical challenges go wrong, and develop a non-skeptical view in a broadly Strawsonian tradition that views personal responsibility primarily through the lens of social life.

I teach courses primarily in moral, political, and social philosophy.

AoS: Ethics (esp. responsibility); Social Philosophy (esp. shared agency)

AoC: Political Philosophy; Philosophy of Action; Metaethics
