Experienced high school educator with a robust background spanning ten years, specializing in English Language Arts instruction for six years and Art instruction for four years, encompassing Art 1 and Painting I-III. Complemented by seven years of dedicated coaching in high school soccer, fostering holistic student development both inside and outside the classroom.Â

Originally from Dickinson, Texas, I moved to Richmond after graduating college in 2015.
I began my career at a nonprofit called CollegeCommunityCareer, working with first generation students achieving college access. I quickly transitioned into being a high school educator after realizing my passion for working with high school students.
An avid soccer player, I enjoy playing soccer at an indoor soccer club in Stafford. I have a passion for travel and hope to visit a new country or state every year. In June 2023, along with two other teachers, we took a group of nineteen students to Japan. I'm always open to new experiences, cultures, and ways of thinking.
