Privacy Policy for TaxMile Pro
Effective Date: March 12, 2026
TaxMile Pro collects location data to enable automatic mileage tracking and trip logging, including when the app is closed or not in use. This functionality is required to accurately calculate tax-deductible business mileage for independent contractors such as rideshare and delivery drivers.
The app may also collect basic analytics and crash information to improve stability and user experience.
TaxMile Pro requests “Allow all the time” location access to support automatic trip detection and background mileage tracking.
Location data is used only for:
Trip recording
Mileage calculation
Driving analytics
App functionality
We do not sell, rent, or share users’ precise location data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Trip history, mileage records, and generated PDF reports may be stored locally on your device and/or securely synced with cloud services associated with your account.
Some technical logs and analytics data may also be temporarily stored to improve app reliability and detect crashes or abuse.
TaxMile Pro retains user data only as long as necessary to provide app functionality and improve the service.
Users may request deletion of their account and associated data at any time by contacting:

Where supported, users may also delete trip records directly from inside the application.
Inactive or unnecessary data may be periodically removed from our systems.
TaxMile Pro may use trusted third-party services such as:
Google Firebase
Google Maps
Google AdMob
These services may process limited technical data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
