After you have committed to your program through your UIUC My Study Abroad application, Gies Business Study Abroad will nominate you to your host university. Nominations are made in late February for fall participants and early October for spring participants. Now that you have been accepted and nominated for the program by the Gies study abroad office, you will receive the online link in order to proceed with your application. You will be asked to upload the following documents (official university documents should be scanned):

  1. Official academic transcript in English

  2. Curriculum Vitae (CV)

  3. Academic reference letter

  4. Photocopy of your passport, which needs to be valid for at least 6 months after planned arrival to Israel

  5. Current photo, in JPG format (not smaller than 30KB)

  6. For non-English-speaking-countries: Certificate of proficiency in English (either TOEFL or IELTS. The minimum scores are 89 for TOEFL and 6.5 for IELTS.

Deadline:

  • Fall semester: early April

  • Spring semester: October 15
