Contest Documents
Contest Documents
Please start with contest_rules.pdf, as that provides you with the high-level introduction to the contest problem. The other two documents -- contest_education.pdf and contest_file_formats.pdf -- are intended as supplementary (and necessary) references to aid you during the research and development portion of the contest.
Contest Overview
- Contest overview
- contest_overview.pdf, v 1.0
Contest Rules
- Contest evaluation criteria
- contest_rules.pdf, v 1.1
Contest Education

Benchmarks
The designs here are intended for you to use during development and testing. We will update this section as new revisions are available.
- testcases_v1.0.tar.gz
- testcases_v1.1.tar.gz -- includes example command file ($design_run.tcl and $design_cmd.tcl) for most testcases.
- testcases_v1.2.tar.gz -- includes *_Constant.lib files which will be used for delay-independent comparison of timing engines.
- testcases_v1.3.tar.gz-- updated the testcase data to better conform with the format documentation.
- aux_v1.0.tar.gz -- auxiliary dataset which contains vga_lcd reference results.
- aux_v1.1.tar.gz -- update to auxiliary dataset -- included input pins in the path, and changed begin-point to clock pin of launching register.
- testcases_v1.4.tar.gz -- updated *_Constant.lib files so that load axis is 10x larger, to avoid extrapolation due to large load nets.
- aux_v1.2.tar.gz -- Updated reference results to match the clock period of 100ps in the *.timing constraints.
- benchmarking_v1.0p.tar.gz -- testcases used for benchmarking the contest entries (prelim version)
- benchmarking_v1.1p.tar.gz-- testcases used for benchmarking the contest entries (final version, includes the *.ops files)
