“I thought the way the course was organized was very structured and easy to follow. I never felt like I had too little or too much time to do an assignment. The assignments were easy to access and not overwhelming or underwhelming, but still thorough.”

“Ms. Benko was an amazing teacher, she had lots of office hours and was always open and enthusiastic to help. She supported me as well as many other students and helped me to understand the material very well. I wish she could teach my math classes all through college. Truly, she might be the best math teacher I've ever had.”

“Tatyana was my Calculus I instructor at University of Oregon during Spring 2021 term. After spending ten weeks learning from Tatyana, I can confidently say that I learned more from this course than any other Calculus course I have taken (compared with HS Calc and UG Calc). Specifically, Tatyana was able to capture the most salient topics of each chapter section, and present them in a way to the class that helped me truly grasp each concept. Her notes were simple, clear and easy to follow. She was fully prepared for each class, and always demonstrated a high degree of professionalism while on Zoom. Additionally, she was regularly available by email and Canvas message to help answer any questions I had about problems from the homework sets as well as outside Calculus problems. I'm thankful I had a chance to take her course section, and I recommend her teaching skill to any student.”

“Tatyana's slide notes are very clear and easy to follow. She distills the information into easily digestible chunks, which makes my learning and retainment process much easier. Also, she is very open to questions and takes time to stop the current material and review topics (such as derivatives basics) when asked by students, and doesn't seem annoyed by any questions. She is also regularly available by office hours and via Canvas messages, which is extremely helpful.”
