The ruins and the clock

I wanted to capture an idea that has always made me reflect: how everything humans build —civilizations, cultures, ways of life— eventually disappears with the passing of time, while nature continues its course and remains alive.

A broken clock over the ruins of an ancient civilization. For me, the clock symbolizes the passage of time and the fragility of humanity; the ruins represent what’s left of our creations. Beneath them, small leaves sprout, symbolizing nature’s resilience —its ability to be reborn even when everything seems destroyed.

I decided to carry this tattoo on my skin as a reminder that, even though everything changes and falls apart, life always finds a way to move forward.
