"Butterfly of Hope: The Tattoo of My New Beginning"
This tattoo holds a very deep and personal meaning for me. A year ago, I received a diagnosis that changed my life: cancer. From that moment on, everything I knew and took for granted began to transform. I went through a difficult process, but I also had the opportunity to learn, grow, and redefine what life and resilience really mean.
The tattoo I chose has two elements that are very symbolic of my experience: the cancer ribbon and the butterfly. The ribbon is, of course, a universal symbol of the fight against this disease, but for me, it also represents the strength and unity that came from the support of my family, friends, and loved ones. The butterfly, on the other hand, is a symbol of transformation and rebirth. The butterfly starts as a chrysalis, going through a painful process before emerging as a completely new and free being. That metamorphosis is what I felt I was going through: a process of both internal and external changes, a struggle to rediscover myself, but also to be reborn with a new perspective on life.

This tattoo, then, is not just a mark on my skin, but a constant reminder of my strength, the battles I've overcome, and the new beginnings that await me. It is a symbol of my personal transformation, of the rebirth that, although painful, has allowed me to see the world from a different, more appreciative and hopeful perspective.
Every time I look at my tattoo, I don’t just see a story of struggle, but one of overcoming, healing, and new opportunities. It is a declaration that, even though the path is not always easy, there is always room for renewal and growth.
