ABOUT ME
I’m a passionate and curious creative with a love for storytelling across a variety of mediums. Having worked in-house as a Runner and temporary Development Assistant at Working Title Films, I’m eager to jump into my next opportunity assisting, learning and contributing to the conversations of tomorrow. I’m particularly interested in real stories and the exploration of socio-political issues which can be seen in the concepts of treatment for a TV show concept to my short film about sustainability in fashion. I hope to find an opportunity to explore content, social media or advertising.
FAVOURITES
Mustang (2015) is my favourite film as it explores themes of patriachy, sisterhood and rebellion. The film uses 5 sisters to explore the differnt reactions one can have to the same oppressing childhood. I made a video essay on this film to discuss the director's intention with each character.
The Society (2019) is my favourite show as it explores human nature and heirachy in the concept of teenagers having to rebuild society. Despite having a cliffhanger, it made me think a lot about societal contrsucts and how human's interact with eachother in a contemporary world.
Looking For Alaska by John Green is my favourite book. A heartbreaking story that poetically describes innocent platonic love and made me reconsider gratitude in my everyday life.
Three identical Strangers is my favourite documentry because of how radical the true events are. The doc shines light on an awful experiment conducted on triplets seperated at birth to study nature vs nuture and the findings are incredibly intresting yet so ethically wrong.
SOAPmag, a digital magazine, is my favourite piece of media at trhe moment. In a digital world where Gen Z craves physical media, SOAP satisfies that craving with its rauchy, sexy and chic outlook. SOAP brings back a style of editorial we thought we lost in the 2000s with the downfall of Ambercrombie & Fitch.
