Spectrum News 1 Kentucky

During his senior year, Tate worked as an inaugural fellow at Kentucky's Spectrum News 1 branch, helping with the daily broadcasts during his final two semesters at U of L.  

The nine-month fellowship had him writing scripts for segments, recording and editing packages for practice, and manning the booth during recordings.

Most of Tate's time included interacting with the working class communities and officials that make up the state, like Governor Andy Beshear below.
