Tatay German’s Food Products produces own harvest products such as Coffee and Black Pepper.
In 1976, Tatay German, the father of Sharina Catherine and Norie, grew the Robusta Coffee, Black Pepper and other fruit bearing trees in their Farm in Guizo, Palili, Samal, Bataan and sold it in the market as their main source of income.
Prior to opening the business in March 2021, Sharina Catherine and her sister Norie, former OFWs, lost their jobs due to the Pandemic.
When they returned to the Philippines, they took inspiration from the family business and started their own venture Tatay German’s Food Products.
What sets their coffee apart, is its unique blend of known antioxidants such as cacao, cinnamon and malunggay in the family’s signature robusta coffee.
As a start up, everything is done by hand instead of by machine, from dehulling the coffee to milling it. It takes them four to five hours to roast the coffee, and you can certainly taste the difference!
