Hi, I am Taslim Uddin. I am a graduate student in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering at Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka-1342. My area of interest is Cellular & Molecular Biology, specifically in the field of Neuroscience.
I am currently enrolled in a Master's (MS) in the Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering at Jahangirnagar University, a reputed public university in Bangladesh. I also completed my undergraduate degree (BS) in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering from the same institution, Jahangirnagar University (JU), in 2023.
During my undergraduate studies, I conducted a research project (review work) as part of my B.Sc. degree entitled ‘Role of Calcium Ions in Synaptic Plasticity & Neurophysiology,' Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Jahangirnagar University.
Moreover, I am also engaged in several research studies in the neuroscience field, such as cell biology, cellular and molecular neuroscience, neuronal microenvironment, neuromodulation, neural circuits, neurodegeneration, neuropathogenesis, synaptic plasticity, and vagus nerve stimulation (VNS).
