Next Steps

This First Draft of Tasley Neighbourhood Plan is published for informal consultation with local residents and stakeholders until from 7th March until 18th April 2025.

Following this, the responses will be considered carefully by the Steering Group and the Draft Plan will be revised and finalised for 6 weeks formal consultation (Regulation 14) in Spring 2025.

It is hoped that TNP will be submitted later in 2025, and following further consultation by Shropshire Council, it will proceed to independent examination and then finally be subjected to a local referendum.  A majority Yes vote (50% of turnout plus 1) will mean that Tasley Neighbourhood Plan will be made (adopted) by Shropshire Council and used to help determine planning applications in the neighbourhood plan area.
