TaskTimer – Privacy Policy

1. Data Storage

TaskTimer stores all your data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal information on external servers.

2. Local Data

All tasks, notes, alarms, categories, and settings are saved exclusively on your device using local storage (SharedPreferences). This data remains private and under your control.

3. No Data Collection

We do not collect any personal information, usage statistics, or analytics. Your study habits, task details, and notes are completely private.

4. Permissions

The app may request the following permissions:

• Notifications: To send alarm and task reminders

• Storage: To export/import backup data

• Audio: To play alarm sounds
  
  

These permissions are used solely for app functionality.

5. Data Export

You can export your data as a JSON backup file. This file contains all your tasks and settings. You are responsible for securing this backup file.

6. Third-Party Services

TaskTimer does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Your data never leaves your device except when you explicitly export it.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our app does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. All data remains local to the device.

8. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time using the “Clear All Data” option in Settings. Uninstalling the app will also remove all local data.

9. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app with an updated date.
