Leadership in Equity, Advocacy, and Disability Policy (LEAD) is an ECRN Policy HUB initiative that seeks to develop leadership through advocacy education, collaborative knowledge-building, and member support. Through podcast conversations, practical “how-to” advocacy resources, collaborative white papers, webinars, outreach, and shared tools, LEAD helps early-career research network (ECRN) members build the skills and confidence to engage in both macro- and micro-level advocacy.
Grounded in the principle of “nothing about us without us,” LEAD seeks to center the lived experience of people with disabilities through their leadership and collaboration in every space. This program is designed to cultivate partnerships that are relational, justice-oriented, and rooted in equity, access, and collective action.
