Advocacy, Collaboration, and Transformation (ACT) is the initiative that supports our website, serves as a point of contact for resources and advocacy support, and promotes upcoming TASH events and conference opportunities. ACT is also the main driver of our resource hub, offering one-pagers and access to other initiatives such as LEAD and RISE.

ACT is a collaborative effort focused on building partnerships with other advocacy organizations, while also supporting our early-career members to develop their skills and increase engagement in both macro- and micro-level advocacy. Our hope is through ACT, we will be shaping policy at the systems level (i.e., macro), and we will be taking action and supporting our own local communities (i.e., micro).

One main goal of ACT is to attend the Disability Summit annually in Washington, D.C., alongside our self-advocate members and to use our webinars, trainings, and shared tools to help early career professionals share their experiences and ongoing work as advocates and co-conspirators.
