If you want a complete pair of professional studio headphones built for critical listening and long sessions, choose Tascam TH-200X; if you need durable replacement shells to fix a broken Beats Studio 3 unit, choose Adhiper Studio3. These two products serve entirely different purposes in the audio world, and confusing them would be a costly mistake for anyone shopping for construction work or studio gear. The Tascam is a finished product ready to plug in and deliver sound, while the Adhiper item is strictly a repair kit designed to restore an existing headset's appearance and structure.
• Tascam TH-200X: Delivers full-spectrum audio with a lightweight, closed-back design ideal for monitoring, but lacks wireless connectivity or noise-canceling electronics.
• Adhiper Studio3: Offers high-quality plastic replacement shells to save money on repairs, but does not include any drivers, battery, or working electronics.
• Best for: The Tascam is the clear choice for anyone needing functional head phones for construction work or music production, whereas the Adhiper parts are only for those fixing a specific damaged model.
The Tascam TH-200X stands out as a robust solution for professionals who need reliable, wired monitoring without the fuss of batteries or Bluetooth pairing. Its core strength lies in the industry-standard black design paired with a stainless steel frame that ensures extreme durability. This isn't just about looking good; the metal construction suggests it can withstand the rigors of a busy studio or a job site where equipment gets bumped around. The ear placement is over-ear with an oval enclosure shape, which typically provides better isolation than on-ear models. For someone working in a noisy environment, this physical isolation is often more effective than active noise cancellation because it physically blocks sound waves from entering the ear canal.
Comfort is a major selling point here, specifically for long-duration use. The headband features tightly stitched padding that wraps around the stainless steel arms, creating a cozy fit that distributes weight evenly. At 14.4 ounces, these headphones are surprisingly light, yet they maintain a solid build quality. The cable is elongated, giving users the freedom to move around a room while recording or mixing without being tethered to a short cord. This flexibility is crucial when you are moving between microphones or adjusting levels on a console. The frequency range of 15Hz to 22kHz covers the full spectrum of human hearing, ensuring you hear every detail in your mix or every nuance in your audio feed.
However, this product is not for everyone. If you require wireless freedom or active noise cancellation powered by a battery, the TH-200X will not meet those needs since it relies entirely on a wired connection via a 3.5mm or 6.35mm jack. It also does not have a built-in microphone or remote controls for calls. It is a pure audio device. You should skip this if you are looking for a casual consumer headphone with flashy features like voice assistants. Instead, buy this if you value transparency, sound fidelity, and a mechanical build that feels like it will last for years. It is an excellent candidate for best bluetooth earbuds for construction work alternatives, though in this case, it is a wired option that simply doesn't drop or get lost easily.

The Adhiper Studio3 listing represents a completely different category of product: it is a repair component, not a standalone piece of audio gear. The primary function of this item is to replace the outer and inner shells of the Beats Studio 3 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones. If your favorite pair has cracked plastic, peeling paint, or broken hinges, this kit allows you to restore the device to its original look without paying for a full replacement. The materials used are described as high-quality plastic that fits perfectly, aiming to mimic the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) feel. The package includes both left and right outer shells along with their corresponding inner shells, providing a complete cosmetic overhaul for the headset.
This product is exclusively for owners of the Beats Studio 3 who are willing to perform the installation themselves. If you are not comfortable with DIY repairs or do not know how to find installation videos online, this might be too technical. However, for those who can handle the task, it saves significant money compared to buying a new pair or paying a professional repair shop. The color available is gray, and the material is plastic, which aligns with the original construction of the Beats Studio 3. It comes with a one-year warranty against manufacturer defects, offering some peace of mind regarding the quality of the replacement parts.
You should definitely skip this product if you are looking for a new pair of headphones or a set of head phones for construction work. It contains no speakers, no battery, no drivers, and no audio processing capabilities. It is literally just a shell. This item is for the person whose headphones are still technically functional inside but look terrible on the outside, or perhaps the hinge is loose due to a cracked exterior. It is a niche accessory for maintenance and longevity, extending the life of an existing device rather than introducing new audio technology.

• Best for budget-conscious repairs → Adhiper Studio3, allowing you to keep using a working headphone unit for a fraction of the cost of a new pair.
• Best for studio monitoring → Tascam TH-200X, engineered for recording and mixing with closed-back isolation.

In my opinion, if you are looking for a functional set of headphones to use for construction work or any professional audio application, the Tascam TH-200X is the only logical choice. It delivers actual sound, offers superior build quality with its stainless steel frame, and provides the comfort needed for extended wear. The Adhiper Studio3 is a useful tool, but only if you already own a broken Beats Studio 3 and want to fix it yourself. Buying the Adhiper parts expecting them to produce sound would be a fundamental misunderstanding of what the product is. For anyone needing reliable audio gear that can handle a demanding environment, the Tascam wins hands down.
