Tarrant High School's

Virtual Poetry Slam & Rap Battle

VOTING IS OPEN UNTIL MONDAY, NOVEMBER 26th at 11:59:59 CST.

They read, they wrote, they performed, they voted. Now they need YOUR votes!

Each of our students wrote their own poem/rap in response to the ending of Jason Reynold's Long Way Down. They performed them in their English classes, and each class chose the one they wanted to represent them. Now, our classes are competing against each other in a virtual poetry slam & rap battle contest.

Each grade level has their own page with the class winners. Please watch each entry and vote once per each grade level! Not only will the winning entry in each grade level be recognized, but the two entries that get the most votes (regardless of grade) will win the class prizes.

So please, vote for every grade level, and then share this site with your friends, families, and co-workers. Help our THS students' voices be heard far beyond the streets of Tarrant, AL.

Please use the buttons below to access the grade level pages (or the navigation menu at the top).
