The Tarporley & District u3a was established in 2013 and is based in Tarporley, Cheshire, England; a rural village in the magnificent rolling countryside of Cheshire West, lying between Chester (11 miles) and Nantwich (9 miles). It used to be a coaching stop on the road between London and Chester. We are a registered charity ( No. 1171370 ) and currently have over 500 members. Surrounding villages forming the catchment area include Alpraham, Beeston, Bulkeley, Bunbury, Calveley, Clotton, Cotebrook, Eaton, Haughton, Kelsall, Little Budworth, Peckforton, Tarvin, Tiverton and Utkinton.

Digital Photography was the first special interest group to be created and is now one of about 35 groups that u3a members in our area can join.
