Getting to Oxford...

... from Heathrow Airport

Of you are flying into the UK, then Heathrow Airport is by far the most convenient option in terms of travel to Oxford. To get to Oxford from Heathrow, the simplest option is to take the "Oxford Airline" coach from Heathrow Airport direct to Oxford. It is a comfortable bus, with onboard Wifi, departing approx every 30 minutes. If you arrive at Heathrow Terminal 5, it departs from Stand 10, immediately outside the arrivals area. You can pay onboard or buy a ticket in advance (recommended):

https://www.theairlineoxford.co.uk

It usually takes about 1 hour 10 mins, depending on traffic. The final stop for the bus is "Gloucester Green", which is in central Oxford and literally across the road from Worcester College.

If you arrive at another terminal, then you should go to Central Bus Station at Terminals 2/3, where the coach departs from Stand 15.

... by Railway from London

Direct trains to Oxford leave central London from both PADDINGTON STATION and MARYLEBONE STATION. Trains from Marylebone usually take up to 1 hour 20 minutes; trains from Paddington are typically faster (an hour or less). The following website give train times and allows online booking:

Do check for your journey whether the train is direct or not!

If you are travelling with Eurostar to London then you’ll have to cross London from St Pancras Station by Underground to get to Paddington or Marylebone.

Location of Worcester College Within Oxford

Worcester College is located in the centre of Oxford on the junction of Beaumont Street, Walton Street and Worcester Street. The college is just across the road from the main bus and coach station ("Gloucester Green" - where the Oxford Airline coaches arrive from Heathrow, see above). Worcester College is a very  easy 10 minute walk from the railway station (you are unlikely to persuade a taxi driver to take on such a short fare!) and is very close to the main shopping areas.

Location of Conference within Worcester College

Within the college, the conference will be held in the Sultan Nazrin Shah Conference Centre. This new facility is located in the grounds of the college: ask at the porters lodge on arrival for directions.
