Md. Tarek Hassan received the M.Sc. and B.Sc. Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET), Rajshahi, Bangladesh, in December 2024 and March 2021 respectively.. He is persuing his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) from Queen's University Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. He is now working as a Lecturer in the department of ETE at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) since 12 December 2021. He has been working in the area of Machine Learning (ML), Mobile Edge Computing (MEC), Beyond 5G/6G Wireless Communications, Radio Resource Management, and Millimeter Wave Communications for the last five and a half years. He has published some research papers and posters in this field.
His research interests include Machine Learning in Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS), Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC/JSAC), and others. Mr. Tarek was a recipient of one ETE Association Award (Student of the Year Award) from RUET for his outstanding academic performance in the 2018 examinations while pursuing a B.Sc. engineering degree. Mr. Hassan also attended multiple conferences and seminars & published several papers.
