Our Promise

Taranxa is designed to keep your documents on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your personal data or document content.

What We Do Not Collect

Where Your Data Lives

All scans, PDFs, signatures, and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple’s standard file system and secure storage. Nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it via the iOS Share Sheet, Save to Files, Mail, AirDrop, or another sharing option provided by iOS. Those actions are controlled by you and handled by Apple.

Permissions We Request

Camera

Only when you scan a document. Used solely for capturing the image you choose to scan. Images are processed on-device.

Photo Library

Only when you choose “Import from Gallery”. We use Apple’s secure photo picker, which does not give the app access to your full photo library.

Files

Only when you import a Word, RTF, or text document, or save a PDF to Files. The system file picker controls which files we can read.

In-App Purchases

If you choose to subscribe to Premium, the purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not see, store, or process your payment information. Apple may collect data necessary to process payments in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Children’s Privacy

Taranxa does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy in a future app update, the updated version will be available here in the app.

Terms of Use

Acceptance

By using Taranxa, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

License

Taranxa grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on devices you own or control, subject to Apple’s standard App Store Terms of Service.

Your Content

All documents you scan, import, or create with Taranxa belong to you. We have no rights over your content and never see it. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to scan, store, or share any document you process through the app.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Premium features may be unlocked through auto-renewing subscriptions.

Available Plans

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings.

Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple’s refund policies.

Taranxa is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

While we strive to provide a reliable experience, we do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every use case. Always verify important documents before sharing or relying on them.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Taranxa.

This includes, but is not limited to, loss of documents, loss of data, business interruption, or any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the app.

You are responsible for maintaining backups of important documents.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Any updates will be published within the app, and continued use of Taranxa after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
