I am a postdoc reasearcher at Queen Mary University of London. I work in the Algebraic and Number Theory group, with a heavy emphasis on combinatorics and matroid theory. My research group consists of Felipe Rincón, Alex Fink, Nicholas Anderson, Samuel-Louis Gardiner , and Benjamin Dobres. I am interested in the combinatorics of algebraic and tropical geometry. In particular, I work with the matroids associated with this. My background is in pure matroid theory, and my aim over the next decade or so is to build bridges to allow graduate students and early postdocs in pure combinatorics to access the rich world of algebraic matroid theory.
