This Privacy Policy applies to the Tappi mobile application and the Tappi business dashboard at tappirewards.com (collectively the "Application") created by Gautam Singh Rathor (hereby referred to as the "Service Provider").
The Application is provided as a Free service with optional paid business subscriptions and is intended for use "AS IS." The Application is offered in English and Español.
Tappi is a digital loyalty platform: customers collect stamps at participating shops and redeem rewards, and businesses create branded stamp cards and stamp or reward customers by scanning a QR code.
The Application may collect certain information to provide and improve its services. This includes:
• Device Internet Protocol (IP) address • Device type, operating system version, and app version • App usage data such as features accessed, session duration, and interactions • Crash logs and performance diagnostics
This information is collected in a non-identifiable manner wherever possible and is used to improve app performance, reliability, and user experience.
If you choose to sign in to the Application (e.g., via Google Sign-In), the following information may be collected:
• Name • Email address • Profile photo (if available)
This data is used only for authentication, account management, syncing across devices, and providing personalized features.
You may also use the Application as a guest without registering. In guest mode, your stamp activity is stored under an anonymous identifier tied to your device; uninstalling the app or clearing its data will lose this activity. If you later sign in with Google, your guest activity is linked to your new account and preserved.
To operate the stamp-card and rewards features, the Application processes the following:
• Stamp and reward activity — when a business scans your QR code, a stamp is recorded for that shop's card; when you redeem a reward, that redemption is recorded. This includes the shop, the stamp count, timestamps, and reward history. • Your personal QR code — a code derived from your account identifier that businesses scan to add stamps. It does not contain your name, email, or other personal details. • Optional transaction amount — a business may record the value of an order at the time it adds a stamp or fulfills a reward, for its own sales insights. This is visible to that business, not to other businesses. • Reviews — if you leave a rating or review for a reward, your chosen display name and review text are stored and are visible to other users of the Application.
Some loyalty activity (such as stamp records and reviews) is readable by signed-in users of the Application. Businesses can see the loyalty activity, and limited profile information, of customers who have collected stamps at their venues, in order to operate their loyalty program, manage members, and send program-related messages.
A business may keep its own records about a customer who holds its card, using the Application's member-management tools. These records may include the customer's name, email address, phone number, birthday, postal code, marketing consent status, and free-form notes. This information is controlled by the business for its own customer-relationship purposes and is associated with that business's account.
If you use the Application as a business, the Service Provider also processes information you provide to run your loyalty program, including your venue name, logo, brand color, stamp-card configuration, rewards, gallery images, and currency preference. Venue branding (name, logo, color) may be visible to customers who hold your card.
User data (including loyalty activity, member records, venue content, and uploaded images such as venue logos and gallery photos) is stored securely using cloud services (e.g., Firebase).
We retain data only as long as necessary to:
• Provide app functionality • Maintain loyalty history, saved content, and business records • Comply with legal obligations
If you request account deletion, your associated data will be deleted within a reasonable timeframe. When you delete your account, you may optionally provide a reason and note, which is recorded to help us improve the Application.
The Application uses third-party services to operate effectively. These may include:
• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage) • Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications) • Firebase Analytics (usage analytics) • Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting) • Firebase App Check (abuse prevention) • RevenueCat (subscription and purchase management) • Google Sign-In (authentication)
These services may collect and process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
The Service Provider does not sell, rent, or trade user data with any third party.
The Application offers in-app purchases, specifically business subscription plans.
All payments are processed securely via:
• Google Play Billing (Android) • Apple App Store (iOS) • RevenueCat (subscription management)
The Service Provider does not store your payment details.
With your permission, the Application may send push notifications — for example, when you unlock a reward, or when a business whose card you hold sends a program-related message. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
You have the right to:
• Access your data • Delete your account and associated data • Stop using the Application at any time

The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If such data is identified, it will be deleted promptly.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including:
• Encrypted network communication (HTTPS) • Secure cloud storage • Controlled access to user data through authentication and security rules
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
The Application may request the following permissions:
• Camera — for businesses to scan customer QR codes, and to capture images such as a venue logo • Storage / Photos — to upload images such as venue logos and gallery photos • Internet — required for syncing, analytics, notifications, and purchases
The Application does not access contacts, microphone, or precise location.
You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the Application using your device's standard uninstall process.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.
You are advised to review it periodically. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of any changes.
