Privacy Policy for Tap Minner

Last updated: 5 October 2026 (in-app purchases added)

Tap Minner ("the app") is developed and published by Midnight Lode ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and who else receives it.

The short version

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or any other directly identifying information. Your game progress stays on your own device. The one category of data that leaves your device is the advertising identifier used to show you rewarded video ads. The app offers optional in-app purchases (gem packs and a VIP pass). These are processed entirely by Google Play: we never see or store your card or other payment details. Gems can also be earned by playing.

Information stored on your device

Your game progress is saved locally on your device using Android's standard app storage. That includes your coins and gems, mine levels and which mines you have unlocked, your crew — which workers you have hired, their levels, and which mine each one is assigned to — your collected relics, your daily contract progress, your daily reward streak, your sound settings, and a record of which in-app purchases have already been delivered, so none is paid out twice. It is not transmitted to us and we cannot read it. Uninstalling the app deletes it permanently, and we have no way to restore it.

Advertising

The app shows optional rewarded video advertisements, supplied by Unity Ads, a service of Unity Technologies. Ads are never forced: every ad in Tap Minner is started by you tapping a button that offers a reward.

To serve and measure those ads, Unity Ads may collect and process:

This data is collected by Unity Technologies directly, under their own privacy policy, which you can read at https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy. We do not receive this data in a form that identifies you; we see only aggregate reporting such as total impressions and revenue.

Your choice about personalised ads

The first time you open Tap Minner we ask whether our advertising partner may use your device's advertising ID to choose ads that are more relevant to you. You can answer either way, and the game is identical whichever you pick — the same features, the same rewards, the same number of ads.

Until you answer, we treat you as having said no. We do not ask again unless you choose to change your answer.

Your choices

Children

Tap Minner is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us and we will address it.

Data retention and security

Because we do not collect or store personal data on our own servers, we hold nothing to retain or delete. Data handled by Unity Ads is retained according to Unity's policy, linked above.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change — for example if analytics or an additional ad network is added — this policy will be updated and the "last updated" date above changed. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
