Brianna Penrose is a NYC based professional performer, choreographer, adjudicator, and educator. Her journey started in Chicago, taking part in the inaugural year of Hubbard Street’s Professional Training Program, directed by Alexandra Wells. Here she walked away with a certificate of completion for HSPro and a YoungArts winner certificate in dance/tap. Brianna also performed alongside Hubbard Street’s main company in “Danc(e)volve” in pieces by Rena Butler and Florian Lochner and in “Space in Perspective”, curated by Peter Chu. Following this, Brianna took to the “Big Apple” and is now represented by Go2Talent Agency. She is a member of “aKompany”, directed by Kenichi Kasamatsu and assists Kenichi on creative projects, such as CLI’s conservatory program. She also has been seen on So You Think You Can Dance on FOX in their top ten women, Lifetime’s Dance Moms, and HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Brianna recently finished a contract traveling internationally as the dance captain for Step One Dance Company, in partnership with Holland America Line. These shows “Humanity”, “Musicology”, “In Tandem”, and “Off the Charts” showcase all styles from ballroom and ballet, to hip hop and commercial jazz. Brianna loves traveling and sharing her passion for dance with the next generation - which is why she is so excited to be on faculty for multiple national dance competitions and conventions such as DX Events, Break the Floor, and Breakout.
Jensen Freedman is an avid advocate for authenticity as well as the mantra that we can all play a part in leaving the world better than how we found it, both in dance as well as the outside world. A Los Angeles native, Jensen has been enjoying, evolving and passing forward the art of Tap Dance since the age of 3. Her unique talents give her the ability to create fun welcoming spaces for dance education that include feel-good dancing as well as positive mindset conversations. Jensen sets the bar for her students by being the example of what she hopes to instill in them. In her work, she demonstrates that how we show up, the way we invest ourselves, how we treat each other and how we stand up for what we believe in can and often will not only make us talented dancers; it will aid in the creation of a more beautiful future for us all. Well-rounded West Coast dance training as well as House dance have heavily impacted Jensen Freedman's personal dance journey. As a young dancer she was trained in all styles but found a special interest and many acknowledgements in Tap dancing. Jensen began her professional dance journey working as a Professional Assistant to Ryan Lohoff, where she became a Co-Tap Director for Simi Dance Center's youth competitive program as well as a Tap Pro-Assistant for Hollywood Vibe Dance Convention. Jensen was then sought after to train and perform with two professional LA based dance companies; Tap Sounds Underground Founded and Directed by the Late Gregg Russell and Rithem Dance Company Founded and Directed by Ryan Lohoff. Jensen has also been featured performing for Friend's In Dance-A Choreographer's Showcase, The Gregg Russell Legacy Memorial Show, Tonality, Melodies Colored Taps, Dunkin' Donuts and Kikkoman Soy Sauce commercials. Jensen's work has allowed her to travel both internationally to Congreso de Danza Mexico as well as domestically across the US with various independent projects and in-studio intensives. Jensen was the Choreographer for the High School Production of 'Singing in The Rain' in Richardson, Texas and the Tonality-Immersive Tap Experience in Atlanta, Georgia. Jensen has been an Adjudicator and the Tap Faculty for various companies including VIP Dance Competition, The Streetz Dance Convention and most currently Intrigue Dance Convention. One of the main highlights of her journey has been training under the direction of Angela Carter, Ryan Lohoff and the late Gregg Russell for an ALL Tap Intensive, Tap Into the Network. For the past 15 years with TITN, Jensen has grown from student, to Pro-Assistant, to Traveling Faculty. As a current TITN Prime Faculty Member, Choreographer and Apprentice Mentor, Jensen attributes so much of her teaching approach, style, professionalism as well as training to the many years spent being a part of this company. She is forever grateful to the dance journey she has been fortunate to experience and looks forward to the future she will create with her past/present students.
