At ElmsHouse, your privacy is our top priority. This Privacy Policy outlines how TapFlow handles your information and describes our strict adherence to data protection and Google Play Developer Policies.
TapFlow is designed as an on-device accessibility and navigation utility.
We do not collect, store, record, transmit, or sell any personal information.
We do not require an account, login, or registration to use TapFlow.
All your customizations (such as button styles, gesture assignments, colors, and sizes) are stored strictly on your local device using Android Jetpack DataStore and never leave your phone.
TapFlow utilizes Android's AccessibilityService API to provide its core functionality: an accessible floating assistive navigation button that helps users navigate their device comfortably with single-touch gestures.
How AccessibilityService is used:
Navigation Gestures: When the user interacts with the floating button (tap, double-tap, long-press), TapFlow uses standard Android accessibility global actions (GLOBAL_ACTION_BACK, GLOBAL_ACTION_HOME, GLOBAL_ACTION_RECENTS, GLOBAL_ACTION_LOCK_SCREEN, GLOBAL_ACTION_NOTIFICATIONS, and GLOBAL_ACTION_TOGGLE_SPLIT_SCREEN).
No Screen Content Monitoring: TapFlow does not read, log, monitor, or access any content displayed on your screen, typed keystrokes, personal messages, banking data, passwords, or inputs.
No Remote Transmission: The AccessibilityService operates 100% offline and locally on your device. Zero accessibility data is recorded, saved, or uploaded to any external server or third party.
TapFlow requires the SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW permission ("Appear on top" / "Draw over other apps"). This permission is used exclusively to display the floating touch button above user interfaces so you can navigate seamlessly. This permission is not used to monitor or record other applications.
On Android 13 (API 33) and newer, TapFlow requests the POST_NOTIFICATIONS runtime permission. This is used solely to display an ongoing system status notification in your notification drawer with quick actions to Show or Hide the floating navigation button. No tracking or marketing notifications are sent.
TapFlow integrates Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to support free development. AdMob may automatically collect and process certain non-personally identifiable diagnostic and device information in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy, including:
Device identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID).
Anonymous crash logs and diagnostic performance data.
Coarse location data (for serving geographically relevant advertisements).
You can review Google's privacy practices and opt out of personalized ads:

TapFlow does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children.
Because TapFlow does not collect, store, or transmit personal data to remote servers, your personal data cannot be accessed, breached, or extracted from our systems.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
