Group Identity

  • A big problem issue in today's world is how easy it is to manipulate identity -

    • in most cases, all that's required -

      • is to speak or write almost anything -

        • fact or fiction

        • truth or non-truth

        • true intention or otherwise.

  • Say what people want to hear -

    • vs. what's reality.

  • Underlying all this is the backstory identity of the entity that is doing the speaking or writing.

  • TAP & TAPable change the playing rules of this game -

    • by establishing a very different way to do identity -

      • be it individual or group.

  • Ultimately, group identity and group voice is what TAP is after -

    • because the group voice is far more important than any one mind's voice.

  • With TAP and TAPable, group identity is simply the perfect combination of all group member identities.

  • TAPpers are only allowed to possess one identity at any moment in time.

    • The one identity impacts the person -

      • as an individual -

        • as well as that person as a group member -

          • within ALL groups they belong.

  • In the TAPworld, 'you' cannot have one identity here and another slightly different identity over there -

    • as is often the case in today's world.

  • What this does is forces us to be more honest -

    • and that honesty carries into the groups we claim membership within.

  • So group identity naturally tends to be more honest too.
