Overview

An alternative way to do team competition that makes every participant's personal contribution more equitable.

Why use it?

Use it to encourage:

1. Everyone to dig a little deeper toward improving personal performance

2. Improved sportsmanship

3. Eliminate the need for hierarchical leadership.

Who is it for?

Kindness competitions are for evolutionary educators and leaders.

How long does it take?

It adds a small amount of time to input the individual participants performance data, but it adds a great new element of anticipation and surprise - as well as making all performances, e.g. the lowest performance as important as the highest performance.

How many people is it for?

It works best for four (4) or more participants, but with no upper limit. As well as team number specification - two (2) or more.

What materials do you need?

Nothing, everything is provided with the online tool.

What does the facilitator need to know or be able to do?

Just the basics of the solution:

• An individual challenge measure that can be:

  • quantified

  • aggregated into two or more teams

• Accuracy of performance measurement and recording

• Internet access

• Data input skills

• Coin flip

• Teaming & competition results sharing - both:

  • team member distribution

  • team scores
