Hello, everyone! Thank you for taking the time to visit my page!
My name is Tanya LaShombe; I am an Associate Vice President and Senior Sales Executive with Northern Insuring Agency in Potsdam, NY. I have studied all aspects of insurance and received the prestigious designation of Certified Insurance Counselor(CIC) for my work in Property and Casualty insurance as well as my Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC) for my work in Life and Health insurance. I have been in this industry since 2012 and find my work both interesting and new every day. I am highly committed to my continuing education to stay on top of all new policies and regulations.
A little personal insight, I am a single mom to three amazing children: my son Benjamin, and twin daughters Abigail and Addisyn. Being a momma is the best thing in the world; my children make me so proud every day and give me the drive to continue being my best self!
I do believe in being a devoted member of the community. I am currently involved with the Potsdam Rotary, sit on the board for the St. Lawrence Leadership Institute, and am a former volunteer with the Parishville Volunteer Rescue Department.
Alongside my career, extracurricular activities, and being a mom, I am a graduate student at the State University of New York at Potsdam working towards my MS in Management with a concentration in Organizational Leadership.
This semester, I studied Policies, Ethics, and Issues with Dr. Karen Caldwell. Learned throughout the semester were concepts and theories relating to policy development.
