• Environmental Monitoring Techniques used in treatment plants, Biochemical, Physical and Biological tests to study water quality

• Isolation and taxonomic classification of Bacterial strains, Biochemical characterization of micro-organisms

• Molecular Biology Techniques including Isolation and characterization of nucleic acids (DNA, RNA) and proteins (SDS-PAGE), Isolation of plasmid, PCR, Restriction digestion, Primer designing etc. Basic Biochemical Techniques:

• Bioinformatic Tools including Protein structure analysis, Sequence analysis in FASTA format from NCBI, Prediction of Metabolic Diseases by KEGG pathway, Phylogenetic Tree Analysis, Sequence Alignment

• Optimization of process parameters and evaluating its significance using statistical tool and response surface methodology (RSM)
