Description

For this piece I decided to do some color manipulation of a cool photo my friend took. First to add contrast, I created a dynamic black and white adjustment layer. After adjusting some of the tones, I created a mask and revealed our clothing. Then using the hue/saturation adjustment layer I brightened up our clothing to give it a more stylized look. Sticking with the principles of color, I feel that the red and yellow compliment each other well. I used the lighter empty space to the right of the subjects as an area for text which think feels natural.
