In Canvas, click on "5th Grade Social Studies Assignments." Check to make sure you have completed the following lessons:

• Week 1-History of Slavery in the US (quiz)
• Week 2-Causes of the Civil War (discussion board question)
• Week 3-The Early Battles of the Civil War (quiz)
• Week 4-Emancipation Proclamation and Gettysburg (quiz)
• Week 5-The End of the Civil War (quiz)
• Week 6-Lincoln Assassination Escape Room (Participation recommended by not required)

TEKS: 5.4E The students will explain the effects of the Civil War including the Assassination of Abraham Lincoln.

The student will be graded on their assignments for Weeks 1-5.
