Numerical Study of Cross Axis Wind Turbine for Different Pitch Angles
The study was conducted to determine the optimum pitch angle and blade profile for the recently developed Cross Axis Wind Turbine where it was observed that the 5-degree and base model provides the highest efficiency.
The aim of this study was to is to assess the impact of the Venturi tunnel's implementation on key aerodynamic parameters, specifically the drag coefficient and negative lift. By employing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations, the research meticulously compares two distinct models: one representing the pre-2022 design and the other embodying the 2022 regulations.
