TankTracker Privacy Policy

TankTracker is developed by JOA Development.

Information collection

TankTracker does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information or sensitive user data.

The app does not require an account and does not use advertising, analytics, behavioral tracking, or cloud synchronization.

Data stored on your device

TankTracker stores information entered into the app locally on the user’s device. This may include:

• Tank names, capacities, units, and current amounts

• Group names and configurations

• Tank adjustment history

• Dashboard layout settings

• App preferences

This information remains on the device and is not transmitted to the developer.

Backup and restore

TankTracker allows users to export app data to a backup file and import a previously created backup.

Backup files are created only when the user initiates an export. The user chooses where the backup is saved or shared. TankTracker does not automatically upload backup files to the developer or to a TankTracker-operated server.

Any third-party storage or sharing service selected by the user may process the backup file according to that service’s own privacy policy.

Data retention and deletion

Locally stored TankTracker data remains on the device until the user:

• Deletes individual data within the app

• Uses the app’s reset options

• Clears the app’s storage

• Uninstalls the app

Exported backup files remain wherever the user saved them until the user deletes them.

Data security

TankTracker relies on Android’s application storage protections for data stored within the app. Users are responsible for protecting backup files after exporting them.

Children’s privacy

TankTracker is not specifically directed toward children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated if TankTracker’s features or data-handling practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made.
