ABOUT TANJIMA
Tanjima is a dedicated Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) who pursued her second master’s degree focusing on Smart Agriculture Machinery Systems at the Department of Smart Agriculture Systems at Chungnam National University, Daejeon, South Korea. Under the expert guidance of Professor Dr. Byoung-Kwan Cho, she worked diligently as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Non-destructive Bio-sensing Laboratory. Her role involved spearheading innovative research in non-destructive sensing methods for agriculture. She is passionate about enhancing the quality measurement of agricultural materials through advanced agricultural spectroscopic technologies.
During her first master's degree, she focused on post-harvest drying technology, exploring areas such as drying techniques and renewable energy, with a special emphasis on solar power. She gained valuable research experience through multiple experiments conducted as part of various projects under Professor Dr. Chayan Kumer Saha. In her undergraduate journey, she successfully graduated with a B.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering from the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology. During her final semester, she submitted a research-based thesis report on the development of a 'solar tunnel dryer for drying cabbage.'
As she continues her academic and research endeavors, Tanjima remains committed to achieving insightful outcomes in her research career and aspires to contribute significantly to the agricultural and relevant technology fields.
