Tanja Bastia

Hello and welcome to my website. I am an academic and a shiatsu practitioner based in Manchester, UK. 

I teach international development at the University of Manchester, where I am Professor at the Global Development Institute. My research interest revolve around transnational social relations, inequality, migration and space. My research has been funded by the British Academy, UKRI and the Leverhulme Fund. This website includes some information about my research and publications.
