Woodworking Projects
Shadowbox Table
This was the first project we worked on as when we had first started dating. It's a shadowbox coffee table with a hinged lid. The window was purchased at an estate sale, the wood on the inside is old hardwood flooring from the Habitat Restore. We bought the wood for the sides and the legs. We were pretty proud of this.
Wine Bottle Vase
This simple wine bottle vase typically adorns our picnic table filled with wildflowers in the summer. The perfect mix of modern lines and delicate flowers.
Spice Rack
We made ourselves a spice rack to match one that we loved in the store, but didn't want to pay store price for it. The color code of the pattern we made shows different lengths and we cut a notch where the pieces intersect and fit the pieces together. A little frustrating to figure out, but turned out great!
Trash Can
We were tired of our smelly, ugly plastic trash can, so we decided to design and build our own! Much better, don't you think?
