In a life filled with bunches of unhealthy habits and lifestyle, this generation has already curved an overwhelming remark. From a world so green, we’ve seen how colors faded and mountains lost their summits of hope. All simple lives turned out to be way more complicated than how we expected it to be. Being a constant of life, and most changes we’ve attained so far ruined the real essence of living, the talk about “The Journey Towards a Climate of Healing and Hope” carried a huge amount of essence– making ways for us to expound the value of overall health and well-being, as well as attaining Climate and Consciousness: A Healthy Mind for a Healthy Planet.
Brahma Kumaris: meditation of peace, hope for the world, wisdom for life and discovery of spirituality as a way of life, through the profound wisdom of BK Sr. Jayanti Kirpalani, made a way to enlighten a path towards mentally solving issues without violence around. Even though we find ourselves in the midst of negativity and uncertainty, we can come up with a solution through our embodied virtues, find solace through hardships by controlling our mindsets as all things we do are directly correlated to it.
Our minds were fed with expounded ways on how to take a step back and recollect oneself before progressing in life. Thus, exploring a vast world of peace and unity isn't always easy to do. We must strive and keep our balance in order to achieve our own solitude of positivity. We must remember that it's important in every student's daily lives to relax and let loose once in a while, to truly discover what it's like to have a work-life balance.

Mental health should always be our number one priority for it is a driving force that gives us the energy to wake up. Just imagine a day without the will to get up and a will to do anything. It leads to severe dysfunction in our body by not following the necessary requirements to fully function on a regular day. Therefore, we must always dedicate our lives to protect our well-being since it is a major factor in finding one’s true self.

As we bid farewell to this fruitful seminar led by Ms. Peggy Sy Jiang, the vice president of the Buddhist Tzu Chi Campus, our journey to finding a balanced life was impending. The 11th of September 2024 taught us that we must carry on with our lives no matter what happens. Life is not a bunch of perfect fairy tales and fantasies. We have to always remember that we can take over our controls. Life so balanced is a reflection of a world so healthy, so let’s chase that together everyday– a dream that even our ancestors would definitely want for us as well.
