辛苦了一天的太阳公公，迫不及待地想回家了。这时，天上泛起一大片紫红的晚霞，仿佛刚出生的婴儿似的，在妈妈的怀中安详地熟睡。不紧不慢，刚刚好。清澈而又璀璨的月亮仙女也来了。她带着那美丽的光辉，照亮了一条条回家的道路，让黑漆漆的夜晚变得温暖了些。“一闪一闪亮晶晶，满天都是小星星”，天上和街上的星星在一旁争先恐后，究竟谁才是夜空中最闪亮的星？夜幕，降临了……

Christmas, the day Christ was born, is the day when all festive spirits gather for fun, and when all the gifts are packed for certain people in mind. But we're still under quarantine. Of course, this is not as fun as the face-to-face celebration, since we can't see our loved ones' reactions when they open the gifts we give or play fun Christmas games with them. The lives of those dear to us are vulnerable due to the pandemic. We can suffer tiresome, frightening, and downright depressing times, and all we can do is hold on a little longer until the day when the pandemic dies out.

It is a self-fulfilling prophecy to say that 2020 is not yet over. The hopes of humanity for a joyful and peaceful Christmas seem to wither as well, as the morning of December 21 buzzed the social media community with the news of a shootout in Paniqui, Tarlac. Police Senior Master Sergeant Jonel Nuezca shot a woman Sonya Gregorio and her son Frank after what seemed to be a petty altercation on a boga (among other more serious matters). Given the nature of social media, police brutality and incompetence became the buzzwords yet again.
