Victims of cyberbullying are in a lot of pain, but their concerns and suffering aren't brought to light. The Bisayan word "Tangkaraw" refers to a particular kind of gas-powered lamp. We wish to bring focus to these victims, share awareness about cyberbullying, and support initiatives aimed at preventing and stopping cyberbullying.

An ABS-CBN news article titled "1 in 3 Young People have been Victims of Cyberbullying: UNICEF", the article talks about how 1 out of 5 young people have stopped going to school due to cyberbullying. In the article they also talk about a survey conducted in 2016 that showed that half of children (aged 13 to 17) have been affected by some kind of cyberviolence or cyberbullying. The percentage for males and females experiencing cyberviolence are close with the boys having 44% and the girls having 43% percent.
