Answer: First, you should be comfortable. If this is your first dance class we want you to feel at home in class. You may be nervous the first time you do something new so we want you to try to just have fun.
Dress in lightweight clothes. Most dancers come dressed in workout cloths and tennis shoes (sneakers). This is a "cardio line dancing" class so while your dancing you will break a little sweat and burn off some unwanted calories. We call it "Learning and Burning"
We often go out for "Dinner & Dancing". On those nights you can come dressed up and ready to dance everything you learned in class.
Answer: No, You can pay at the door with cash, debit card or cashapp. If you would like to pay in advance you can do so via cashapp ($chrismoore2004). Punch cards, that give you a discount, are also available so you won't have to bring cash to class.
Note: Our app charges a 3% surcharge fee for using your card.
Answer: There is no age limit. The music we dance to is mainly what you call "Grown Fokes Music" and the crowd is your adult crowd. However, we have many college age students that come and dance and many parents bring their children with them to dance. All ages are welcomed. There is no drinking, smoking, or vulgar language from the dancers or in the music. It's a family friendly environment with good clean fun for all.
Answer: YES! We encourage the men to come dance. We have quite a few fellas that come to class that are excellent line dancers. And hey, if your single and looking for a "good girl" line dance class is where all the "good girls" are at! Lol :-) JOIN US!!
Answer: It's ok. YOU CAN STILL DANCE!! The instructor(s) takes their time and break down each step, especially in the beginners session and we do very simple dances that walk, tap or 2 step to the right and left. Some people have come not knowing how to dance at all but once they started coming consistently they became very good and surprised at themselves. The lead instructor's favorite scripture is "I can do ALL things through Christ that strengthens me!!" YOU CAN DO IT AND HAVE FUN!!
Answer: Yes. We come out and host private line dancing at bridal showers, parties, community events, anywhere you would like your group to learn a line dance or two.
