The original t:connect app was designed with patient-input, Tandem said, and enables patients to monitor diabetes goals in-between clinic visits. If you have a t:slim X2 pump eligible for the mobile bolus update, Tandem has probably sent you an email about it with instructions. Check your email or use their website to begin! The general process is as follows. It is very similar to updating from Basal IQ to Control IQ if you have done that before.

Completing a mobile bolus is pretty quick and easy, it takes about the same amount of time as it does to bolus from the actual pump. One difference is that you have to confirm your bolus with your preferred phone security measure (ie pin code, touch ID, face ID).

In order to help make your visit smoother, we ask all patients with diabetes who use an insulin pump or continuous glucose monitor to upload their data prior to their visit. If you are unsure how to do this, please use the following instruction sheets to help you. If you need technical support, please contact the device company rather than calling our office.

Tandem Diabetes was preparing to launch a new insulin pump. As part of that launch, the company needed a better way to engage with its customers while also meeting FDA-required, one-on-one training with patients in an efficient and cost-effective way.

A virtual training module built into Tandem Diabetes's customer portal, enhancing the patient experience while still meeting FDA requirements. At the same time, Tandem Diabetes was able to eliminate the $250-$500 expense per user on training.

Knowing Tandem Diabetes needed a way to efficiently provide information and training to patients in a strict regulatory environment, we determined a customer portal leveraging Microsoft Azure would be most effective.

Whether you use an insulin pump, blood glucose sensor, or a combination of both, you can upload/download data directly through our website. Please be aware that links on this page direct you to the manufacturer of your equipment and/or supplies.

Say goodbye to multiple daily injections and enjoy more freedom managing your diabetes with the t:slim X2 insulin pump. This pump's sleek design is matched with a host of advanced features that you would expect in a modern device.

The Tandem t:slim X2 is not waterproof, but it is considered watertight (IPX7). Tandem pumps have been tested at a depth of three feet for thirty minutes. However, users are encouraged not to use their pumps while showering, bathing, or swimming. ff782bc1db
