I believe:

• That logic and evidence are the ultimate arbiters of truth, and that good science holds these highest, making it the best means of determining the truth.
• That morals & ethics are about deciding how to behave in a social environment, and that right and wrong are determined by the consequences of one's actions. Intentions matter because they speak to ones' character and likely behaviour in the future.
• That the proper purpose of the legal & justice system is and should be to deal with antisocial behaviour, and that the institution of laws & amendments should serve this purpose. Reform should be pursued more than punishment.
